PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly perform map display using photographic data. SOLUTION: When a photograph display mode is selected (S120:YES), and when a guidance route (traveling route) acquired by route search is included in an area to be displayed, the electronic equipment reads the route data (S130), and stores the information of an area requiring photograph editing among the read map data (S140). As the information being an object for editing the photograph, for example, when editing roads, the kinds of roads (color information), starting/ending coordinates of roads, road widths, and the like can be mentioned. Next, the electronic equipment reads the photographic data (S150), and edits the colors of the photographic data (S160) according to the stored information. The edit of the photographic data is performed according to the information stored at S140. For example, when a national road is expressed in red, the national road (the kind of a road) and color information (red), a latitude and a longitude of each end of the national road, and the road widths are stored, and the color of the photographic data in the corresponding area is changed to red according to the information.
