PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport mechanism of an optical pickup, which allows angle in the tangential direction of the optical pickup to be adjusted simply and highly accurately. SOLUTION: A first and second cylinder section 12a, 12b are provided on a metal adjustment pin 12, of which the centers are made to set to be offset. It is constituted so that the first cylinder section 12a is rotatably inserted into an insert hole 10 formed in a guided section 4 of a carriage 3, and a periphery surface of the second cylinder section 12b is slid and contacted on a top surface of a guiding member 6. The amount of projection from the guided section 4 of the second cylinder section 12b is changed by rotating the adjustment pin 12. Thus, the angle of the optical pickup 1 in the tangential direction is adjusted, by making the guided section 4 side of the carriage 3 move up and down relative to the guiding member 6.
