PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a metal wire wound resin composite pipe capable of stably winding a metal wire even in a case used in a large caliber resin pipe without bringing about the scaling-up of equipment. SOLUTION: The resin pipe 1 is horizontally supported on a support device 3 having a rotary drive part 9 while a metal wire bobbin 2 is arranged to the side part of the resin pipe 1 and the metal wire (w) is delivered from the metal wire bobbin 2 while rotationally driving the resin pipe 1 to relatively move the same in an axial direction with respect to the metal wire bobbin 2 to be spirally wound around the outer periphery of the resin pipe 1.
