<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a medical cap whose plug body and outer frame body are prevented from releasing during inserting or pulling out a needle and which can effectively prevent leakage of a medicine solution or the like from a needle mark. <P>SOLUTION: In the production method of a medical cap, the plug body made of a thermoplastic elastomer is molded within a pre-molded outer frame body 1 made of a synthetic resin having folds 2 extending toward the center and an opening directions thereof, on its inner wall 3. The outer frame body 1 is installed on a lower metal mold 4 so that the folds extend in the direction of an upper metal mold 5. A thermoplastic elastomer material 6 is then loaded in the outer frame body 1 and the thermoplastic elastomer material 6 is pressed by the upper metal mold 5. By doing so, the folds 2 are bent toward the lower metal mold 4 and the outer frame body 1 and the inside of the lower metal mold 4 are filled with the material 6. The plug body made of thermoplastic elastomer is thus molded with the folds 2 bent toward the lower metal mold 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
