PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fish paste with a plate, enabling to save a slicing labor, capable of using the flavor and texture of a skin formed by a thermal treatment, and having an arranged fish fiber direction orthogonal to a chewing direction, and to provide a method for producing the fish paste. SOLUTION: This fish paste 11 with a plate is obtained by arranging and supporting the plate 12 on a carrying means, extruding a fish paste is plural lines along the carrying direction toward the lower surface of the plate 12 to adhere the fish paste to the lower surface of the plate 12 at prescribed distances, cutting the fish paste between the plates 12, carrying the fish paste adhered to the plate in the inverted state, and simultaneously thermally treating the fish paste at least until giving a stable shape. The produced fish paste 11 with the plate 12 has plural fish pastes 13 on the plate 12 at prescribed distances. |
