<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which enables the players to feel expectations for the coming specified display result with visual changes by shifting the background image to the advance notice background on the variable display device in the execution of the advance notice performance. <P>SOLUTION: The background image data displayed on the variable display devices are synchronized between the game machine involved and other game machines responding to the establishment of the prescribed time counting conditions and when the result of the judgment by a preliminary judgment means is determined to be the specified display result, the background image data is changed to the advance notice background image different from the background image data for the advance notice performance to the effect that the specified result will be displayed on the variable display device.
