PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a revolving-field type synchronous generator capable of providing reduction in cost, size, and weight, and providing high efficiency in a winding method without a coil end, and by a structure of an armature and the field pole. SOLUTION: U/V/W phases armature coils are wound annularly by dividing in the axial direction of a stator, and disposed so that the center of the respective coil rings and the center of a rotating shaft may roughly meet. Stator iron cores which constitute a magnetic circuit are provided on an outer periphery side of the respective coils and on both the edges side in the shaft direction, pole teeth having the pole pieces are alternately formed at a position shifted byπ(rad) of an electrical angle in the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft with the respective coils sandwiched on the inner periphery side, and a non-magnetic member is disposed between the poles. The pole teeth of the respective coils are constituted so as to be layered in the axial direction by sliding in the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft by shifting by 2π/3(rad) of the electrical angle with each other.
