PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high hydrophilic porous body excellent in filtration and separation efficiency for polar solvents such as water and blood, and further to provide a porous body having a large number of fine holes in the inside and excellent in a mechanical property, a heat resistance property and a chemical resistant property, and efficient in a separation membrane for aqueous liquids, polar organic solvents, blood or the like as a film or a hollow fiber. SOLUTION: The porous body is constituted of a copolymer having a repeating unit represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit represented by formula (2), and contains 5-90 vol% of pores, the average diameter of which is 0.001-10μm.
