A gas enrichment module has a pipe enclosing a group of membrane hoses, from which pressurized gas is transferred to a fluid as it passes through the module. The pipe (8) is enveloped in a transparent plastic or rubber sleeve (9) applied as a spray or as a heat-shrunk pre-formed sleeve. The sleeve overlaps the pipe end-flanges (3, 5). The sleeve wall thickness is greater than 1 mm and has a shrink ratio of between 2:1 and 6:1.
