摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and a movement control method for an actuator, having outstanding shock resistance and vibration-resistance capability, and permitting fast ramp load/unload operation. SOLUTION: A position of a magnetic head is obtained by a position detector 48 with a BEMF value in proportion to the moving velocity of the actuator obtained, from a VCM counter electromotive force detection circuit. A position judging unit 49 judges whether the magnetic head matches a position threshold Th 1 corresponding to the position where it collides the ramp. When matched, by a band switching device 47, a process for increasing the controlled variable such as switching to a broadband side, a band for PI control by a PI controller 46 for a feedback control system for the actuator is performed. By the position judging unit 49, the position judging is also performed for the position where change in the velocity starts or the position where change in the velocity starts reducing, and by the band switching device 47, switching the band for the PI control, and the like, is performed.
