PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which shows more effects of feeding a fabric softener and electrolytic water into an outer tub. SOLUTION: When it is decided to carry out electrolytic rinsing (YES at step S6), electrolytic rinsing is carried out in a rinsing stage (the second rinsing stage; steps S17 to S19) carried out after a rinsing stage (the first rinsing stage; steps S13 to S15) in which the softener is fed into the outer tub. When it is decided to avoid carrying out electrolytic rinsing (NO at step S6), spin-drying stages are carried out twice (spin-drying DA and spin-drying/rinsing) and thereafter, the softener is fed into the outer tub in the second rinsing stage (step S10).
