ELECTRICALLY HEATED WINDOW GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically heated window glass capable of reducing electric power load with heater by making power consumption of a heater heating a windshield variable according to the purpose of heating. SOLUTION: The electrically heated window glass has two bonded glass plates, two heaters heating glass plate which are disposed so as to divide a glass plate surface into a plurality of places by being interposed between two glass plates, three bus bars energizing each heater by being provided on the end part of each heater, and a switching means which performs connection switching of a selected bus bar among three bus bars and an external direct current power in order to heat respective heaters individually or by combining them. The electrically heated window glass is provided with an electric current detection circuit which individually detects electric current flowing into respective bus bars and detects abnormal heating of the glass plate by obtaining the condition having disconnection from the relationship of mutual resistance between respective bus bars based on the detection value.
