<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerating machine oil for a hydrocarbon cooling medium, suppressed in bubbling, preventing causing the cavitation of a compressor, and capable of reducing operation noise. <P>SOLUTION: This refrigerating machine oil for the hydrocarbon cooling medium is obtained by adding 1-20 ppm of a polyether-modified silicone oil and/or a silicone oil with an average molecular weight of ≥80,000 to a base oil consisting mainly of a mineral oil. It is preferable that the mineral oil is ≤15 in %CA determined by n-d-M ring analysis, ≤50 ppm in nitrogen content and ≤2,000 ppm in sulfur content and the hydrocarbon cooling medium is propane and/or isobutane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
