PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety by reducing risk concerning the leakage of a coolant, in a vending machine with a cooling apparatus using the flammable HC coolant. SOLUTION: The vending machine is provided with coolers 3A, 3B and cooling apparatuses 8A, 8B comprising compressors 5A, 5B, condensers 6A, 6B, condenser fans 7A, 7B, and flammable coolants 9 for respective coolers 3A, 3B in a machine chamber 4. Thereby, even in the unlikely event of leakage of the coolant from coolant piping, because the cooling apparatuses 8A, 8B are compact, thus reducing the amount of leakage, the density of flammable gas in the air can be lowered, the risk when the coolant leaks is reduced, and the safety can be secured.
