PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-speed and high-accuracy automatic gain control using a power value in a communication machine that performs automatic gain control. SOLUTION: A first power calculation unit 103 is provided before an adjacent channel removing filter 105, and a second power calculation unit 201 is provided after the adjacent channel removing filter 105. In an initial term of automatic gain control, an automatic gain control unit 104 performs automatic gain control using a power value with respect to a received signal from which a next adjacent channel signal found by the first power calculation unit 103 is removed, and in a latter term of automatic gain control, the automatic gain control unit performs automatic gain control using a power value with respect to a signal of a desired channel found by the second power calculation unit 201, thereby realizing high-speed and high-accuracy automatic gain control.
