PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of realizing a smooth turn when the vehicle speed is low, and realizing a brisk turn by enhancing the responsiveness to the operation of a steering wheel when the vehicle speed is medium to high. SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device comprises a rack bar 12 to be moved in the right-to-left direction by the operation of a steering wheel, and a turning angle changing means 17 to change the positional relationship with respect to a tie rod 13 to turn wheels WL and WR. When the vehicle speed is not higher than a predetermined value, the relationship of the turning angle of the right and left wheels WL and WR follows the Ackerman geometry, and smooth turn can be realized by reducing the side slip of the wheels during the turn. When the vehicle speed exceeds the predetermined value, the relationship of the turning angle of the right and left wheels WL and WR approaches the parallel geometry, in other words, the turning angle of the turning inner wheel is reduced, and the side force shared by the turning inner wheel is reduced, and more side force is shared by a turning outer wheel in which the vertical load is increased by the centrifugal force by the turn.
