PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method and the like capable of improving positioning precision by improving SINR of effective signal. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a positioning method for measuring the position of a mobile station MS with a mobile communication system constituted of a plurality of base stations BS. With this positioning method, the position of the mobile station MS is measured by using a pilot channel and data channel and measuring the distance between a plurality of base stations BS and the mobile station MS.
