<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the space efficiency of the portion in which a power module and a motor are installed and to enable easy change in the number of phases of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: In an annular power module, a first annular conductor 21 of a power source side and a second annular conductor 22 of an installation side are, for example, disposed on a concentric circle, power element parts 23a-23f having a high arm side switching element of an inverter and a low side switching element are connected between the first annular conductor 21 and the second annular conductor 22, and the connecting points of both the switching elements 31, 32 are connected by a metal member, etc., directly to the connecting terminals 9 of the motor coils 12a-12f in every phase.
