PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device for a display panel shortening the time for grinding, preventing local wear of a grinding wheel, and extending the service life of the grinding wheel, a grinding method therefor, a manufacturing method for a plasma display panel, and a manufacturing method for a plasma display device, in a grinding process of the display panel. SOLUTION: The display panel grinding device 10 is provided with a plurality of grinding wheel 21, 22, 23, a rotating mechanism rotating the plurality of grinding wheels 21, 22, 23, and a moving mechanism moving the plurality of grinding wheel 21, 22, 23 in a first direction X. This plurality of grinding wheel 21, 22, 23 process the display panel 40 formed of a first substrate 41 and a second substrate 42 which overlap each other forming steps. At that time, the plurality of grinding wheel 21, 22, 23 are rotated by the rotating mechanism to grind each of a plurality of edge parts E1, E2, E3 running in the first direction X of the display panel 40 as it is moved in the direction X by the moving mechanism.
