摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly carry out image output processing by judging in accordance with paper quality and paper thickness of a recording paper, and carrying out the image output processing based on the judgement in the case of performing image output to both faces of the recording paper.

SOLUTION: When the user selects the recording paper for outputting image data by a paper/output face selecting part 24 and designates its output face, an output face judging part 25 determines if the designated output face is both faces whether or not double-sided output is possible by the paper quality and paper thickness of the selected recording paper by referring to paper qualities and paper thicknesses of the recording papers stored in each paper feeding cassette of a color laser printer 3 which are stored in its own storage part. When it is determined that the double-sided output is impossible, an output control part 26 carries out processing of dividing and outputting the image data outputted from an image data analyzing processing part 21 to two one faces of the selected recording papers in accordance with preliminarily set setting contents.
