PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire saw capable of supplying slurry having the stable composition to a wire. SOLUTION: This wire saw cuts a work 13 while supplying the slurry including a liquid component 23 and abrasive grains 24 to the wire 14 traveling between a plurality of rollers 19a and 19b. The wire saw is characterized by a slurry supply mechanism 20 having a liquid component supply mechanism 21 arranged on the upstream side of a part for cutting the work 13 and supplying the liquid component 23 to the wire 14, and an abrasive grain supply mechanism 22 for supplying the abrasive grains 24 to the wire 14 after supplying the liquid component 23.
