PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove lint adhering to a dehumidifying means by washing away the adhering lint in a drying process by making jumped and splashed water by the strong rotational force of a rotating drum work on a dehumidifying means in a washing-drying machine which performs respective processes of washing, rinsing, spin-drying and drying in the rotating drum. SOLUTION: This washing-drying machine is constituted in such a manner that a heat exchanger which dehumidifies air in a water receiving tub is provided in a circulating path having a blowing fan 19, and at the same time, a heater 25 is provided in the circulating path, and power is fed from an inverter 34 to a motor 5 which drives the rotating drum. The washing-drying machine is constituted in such a manner that the inverter 34 is controlled by a controlling means 27 to control the driving of the motor 5, and respective processes of washing, rinsing, spin-drying and drying are controlled. The controlling means 27 makes a first water feeding valve 12 actuate until a specified water level is sensed by a water level sensing means 30 which senses the water level in the water receiving tub at least in the rinsing process, and controls the motor 5 so that the rotational speed of the rotating drum may reach a first predetermined rotational frequency.
