PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent moisture condensation accumulated in a pot packing from dripping at the time of use by reducing the amount of moisture condensation in a vicinity of an abutment section between an internal lid, the pot packing and a pot flange section, and to improve the grade of a rice cooker, and to increase the warming performance in the rice cooker having the pot packing which abuts on the upper surface of the pot flange section of the pot, and seals the pot and the internal lid. SOLUTION: For this rice cooker, the pot 3 is freely detachably housed in a rice cooker body 1, and the upper surface opening of the rice cooker body 1 is openably/closably covered with a lid body 6. The pot packing 18 which is provided on the outer peripheral section of an internal lid 13 forming the lower surface of the lid body 6 abuts on the upper surface of the pot flange section 17 of the pot 3, and thus the pot 3 and the internal lid 13 are sealed. The rice cooker is constituted in such a manner that an internal lid heating means 21 which heats the internal lid 13 may be arranged above the abutment section of the internal lid 13, the pot packing 18 and the pot flange section 17.
