PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "optical pickup device" capable of adjusting the optical axis falling direction of an objective lens independently in radial and tangential directions at low loads, and limiting the center position shifting of the objective lens to a small amount during the falling adjustment. SOLUTION: A pair of reference projected parts 63 and 64 are disposed in a first support 41 having a lens holder 44 to hold an objective lens 43, and these reference projected parts 63 and 64 slide in guide grooves 13 and 15 formed along a circular arc locus on a moving base 10. The radial falling amount of an optical axis X is adjusted by the sliding of the reference projected parts 63 and 64 in the guide grooves 13 and 15, and the tangential falling amount of the optical axis Z is adjusted by rotating the first support 41 around the reference projected parts 63 and 64.
