<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive solid high polymer fuel cell system having excellent electric characteristics and life characteristics by effectively removing impurities such as an organic compound and the like contained in the air, and having a structure equivalent to a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 100 is equipped with a fuel cell 1 to generate power when a fuel gas and an oxidizer gas are supplied, and a total heat exchanger 15 to heat and humidify the supplied oxidizer gas by heat and water discharged from the fuel cell.
