PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction apparatus for displaying productivity calculated from a processing time of an arithmetic processing processor, revising setting contents in response to an operating mode when the productivity is lowered, and forming an image with an optimum productivity in response to the processing time of the arithmetic processing processor. SOLUTION: The multifunction apparatus includes: a display / designation means whereby an operator designates processing contents; an arithmetic processing means for processing image data; and a processing control means for revising / setting the processing contents of the arithmetic processing means on the basis of the processing contents designated by the display / designation means, and displays number of output page information per minute decided depending on the processing contents of the arithmetic processing means. Further, the multifunction apparatus has a first operating mode wherein the operating speed is prioritized and a second operating mode where the image quality is prioritized and the operator can change conditions for designating the processing contents by the display / designation means on the basis of the designation of the operating modes.
