PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the presence or absence of the suspended oscillation of an oscillation circuit by using only the oscillation circuit aimed at detection and with an inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: A suspended oscillation detection circuit comprises: a first phase delay circuity (a resistor element 103 and a capacitor 104) providing phase delay to the oscillation signal of the oscillation circuit 1 for output; a second phase delay circuit (a resistor element 108 and a capacitor 109) providing phase delay to the output of the first phase delay circuit for output; and a logical circuit section 100 formed by combining logical gates so as to generate a suspended oscillation detection signal m, wherein, based on the oscillation signal of the oscillation circuit 1 and each output signal of the first phase delay circuit and the second phase delay circuit, the suspended oscillation detection signal m comes to any one level signal of a binary level when the oscillation circuit 1 is in a normal oscillation mode, and comes to the other level of the binary level when the oscillation circuit 1 suspends the oscillation mode; and its output level comes to any one level of the binary level.
