A method for producing an organic acid ammonium solution comprises a step for obtaining a fermentation broth containing an organic acid magnesium by using an organic acid producing microorganism in the presence of a magnesium compound, a step for producing an organic acid ammonium and a magnesium compound by subjecting the organic acid magnesium contained in the fermentation broth to salt exchange with an ammonia compound, and a step for isolating the thus-produced magnesium compound and obtaining an organic acid ammonium solution.
