The chord profile is a modular part and consists of parallel chambers (2) for sliding tarpaulins (3), and chambers (4) for sliding stanchions, positioned about the Y-axis. A weather strip insertion chamber (6) for rubber roof seals and similar is positioned on the outside of the profile. A support bar (8) for transverse hoops is positioned parallel to the X-axis, and above this there is a set (10) of lugs to support angled plates (11). The height of the profile is pref. 58mm.
