<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prove that a dropout of the certificate number presented to an insurance company is due to a printing defect when a compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate is outputted the second time because of a printing defect caused in a certificate output device that prints the compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate on a blank sheet, and issues it. <P>SOLUTION: The certificate output device comprises a number applying part for applying a certificate number according to a predetermined issuing order, a printing part for printing the certificate containing a certificate number, a failure recording part for recording the fact that the printing part has failed in printing the certificate in association with the certificate number of which printing has failed, a number detecting part for detecting application of different certificate numbers to the same registration number or vehicle body number, and a reporting part for outputting a report of the effect that printing of the compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate, to which a certificate number of prior printing is given, has failed when printing of the compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate, to which different certificate numbers are given, and which is of the certificate number of prior printing among the different certificate numbers, has failed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
