PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation system and an input method to the system capable of continuing an input operation executed in the course of stoppage also after travel. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation system 1 for searching a route to a destination and for guiding the searched route has: a manual operation input part 20 for inputting various kinds of information by a manual operation; a voice input part 21 for inputting various kinds of information by voices; and a data memory 70 for storing, as input operation information 74, operation information input by the manual input part 20 under the stop in own vehicle. The input operation executed under the stop is continued after the travel, on the basis of the operation information input by the voice input part 21 when the own vehicle transits from the stop to the travel and of the input operation information 74 therein.
