摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type actuator which is driven by an inertia force generated by deformation of a piezoelectric element, a linear motion mechanism using the same, and an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: One ends of bimorphs 1a, 1b composed of a piezoelectric element are fixed to projecting parts 3a, 3b provided to the side surface of a cylindrical rotor 3. Additional masses 2a, 2b are fixed to the other ends of the bimorphs 1a, 1b. In a bimorph element 1, piezoelectric elements 6a, 6b which are polarized are overlapped and jointed in the tangential direction orthogonal to the radial direction of the rotor 3. A voltage is applied between the joint surface and the other surface, so that one piezoelectric element expands while one piezoelectric element contracts, bending the bimorph element 1.
