<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a microorganism having ability to decompose an organic substance does not generate minus ions only by culturing the microorganism in a solution; and to provide a method for generating minus ions by applying the microorganism, and a product. <P>SOLUTION: The microorganism having ability to decompose an organic substance is cultured in a solution, and the cultured microorganism is diluted with water, mixed with clay, and kneaded. Nutrients for the microorganism, an enzyme, a lactic acid bacterium and the like are added to the kneaded material, and the resulting mixture is subjected to fermentation and ageing.
