PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tundish nozzle for continuous casting with which, in an open-nozzle type tundish nozzle exchanging device, a lower nozzle can smoothly be exchanged without interrupting a casting process, and the leakage of molten steel on the sliding surfaces of an upper and the lower nozzles is simply prevented and the safe and efficient operation can be performed. SOLUTION: The sliding surface of the lower nozzle is formed as a polygonal shape having the side sides parallel with the sliding direction and the sides crossed at the right angle to the sliding direction at the front part and the rear part of the sliding direction. In the direction crossed at the right angle to the sliding direction, the length on the sliding surface of the above upper nozzle is longer than the length on the sliding surface of the lower nozzle in at least a part, and when the centers of the nozzle holes in the upper and the lower nozzles are in the matching state, the nozzle set has the constitution so that the sliding surface in the above upper nozzle is stayed at the rearer part than the front part side of the sliding surface in the lower nozzle.
