PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a medical accident caused by the erroneous collation of a patient when performing medical treatment such as medication, blood pressure measurement.

SOLUTION: A patient authentication terminal 3 is provided with: a reading means 33 for reading first recording information from a first recording medium in which the first recording information being identification information assigned to a patient and/or the medical treatment information of the patient is recorded; and a reading means 32 for reading second recording information from a second recording medium in which the second recording information being identification information assigned to the patient and/or the medical treatment information of the patient is recorded. Thus, by the terminal 3, the first recording information or first medical treatment information specified by the first recording information, and the second recording information or second medical treatment information specified by the second recording information can be collated and/or displayed.
