PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon for an endoscope apparatus to be easily attached to an insertion part of an endoscope or an insertion aid without forming a projecting region on the outer surface of the insertion part or the insertion aid by forming the balloon in the shape of a cylinder with even thickness and making both ends of the balloon with a rubber material harder than the center region. SOLUTION: The rubber balloon 42 is detachably attached to the insertion part 12 of the endoscope 10. The balloon 42 is formed in the shape of a cylinder with even thickness, and is fitted in a soft part 50 of the insertion part 12.
