Mechano-pyrotechnic module has at least two separate pyrotechnic chains integrated in a mechanical system (15, 16, 17) and initiated by a single igniter (10). Each chain operates through a relay (13, 14) to initiate one of the charges (P2), and the chains have different rates of combustion one slower and one faster. The mechanical system interrupts the slower chain if the faster one is not functioning correctly.
