<p>A door stabiliser for supporting a door (7, fig 2) whilst fitting to a door frame has height adjustable wheels 1 and preferably a base unit 6. The base unit may be made of steel, alloy, plastic or any other suitable material. The wheels may be adjusted via handles 2. Door clamps 4, operated by handles 3, may be provided for clamping the door and may be located on mounting posts 5. The wheels could further be provided with brakes. Preferably the wheels can accommodate variations in the height of a floor, can be used to set a desired spacing between the door and floor, and can be lowered to remove the door stabiliser after fitting of the door.</p> |
