The assembly comprises a suspension structure and a pleated curtain (1), each pleat (2) of which is divided into two reciprocally pivotable panels (3). Connected with the suspension structure are hooks (5) connected with the curtain coupling components for suspension purposes. The panels in a top section are each provided with an eyelet (4) for receiving the hook-shaped component for suspension of the curtain. Between one eyelet and the next there are three curtain panels. This means that there are only five hook arrangements necessary for suspending a curtain.
