Compounds are described, which are phospholipid derivatives of valproic acid, and compositions comprising such compounds and their use for treating epilepsy, migraine, bipolar disorders and pain. The graph depicts a typical HPLC chromatogram of a C16/Cl8-DP-VPA composition, where the C16-DP-VPA to Cl8-DP-VPA ratio is 15%: 85%, by weight.
