<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generator adopting a simple circuit and capable of generating a signal with noise added thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The signal generator A includes a noise generator 30 which generates noise to be added to the signal and is provided with a PN coder 300. The noise generator 30 uses a PN code from the PN coder 300 to simulatively generate white noise within at least a prescribed band.
