PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk cartridge which prevents the recording surface of a disk from being scratched. SOLUTION: Shutters 26, 28 are formed in a state in which the center is recessed like a dish with respect to the recording surface 12A of an optical disk 12. Thereby, since only the outer peripheral part 12D of the optical disk 12 is brought into contact with outer peripheral parts 26E, 28E of the shutters 26, 28 when holding the optical disk 12, most of the parts of the recording surface 12A become a non-contact state, and the recording surface 12A is prevented from being scratched.
