PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window shade for an automobile with simplified coupling of a window shade sheet and a pull-out rod. SOLUTION: This window shade sheet is equipped with a pull-out rod 57 arranged on one end of the window shade sheet. The pull-out rod 57 includes a groove 66 undercut for mounting on the window shade sheet. To simplify manufacture of the pull-out rod 57 and mounting to the window shade sheet, the pull-out rod 57 comprises two members 59, 60. Each of the member 59, 60 includes a part of the groove 66, and their cross sections are opposed to each other in a groove area. The pull-out rod members 59, 60 are not undercut in the groove area.
