A grip to be used for holding the sheet feeding cassette with a hand is provided close to the front surface of the sheet feeding cassette so as to be located above a sheet placement surface on which sheets are to be placed in the accommodation portion. An angle formed by the sheet placement surface and a straight line passing through the grip and the center of gravity of the sheet feeding cassette is larger than or equal to 5°.
