PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a padding material for a pillow or cushion characterized by the extrusion molding process with the aroma and medicinal components of lavender kept nearly in the natural state. SOLUTION: Flowers, leaves and the top of the stem of lavender are picked up, dried and powdered, and the pigments are fixed. Then, the dry powder lavender is mixed in a resin with aroma-permeability at the rate of 1-20%, and the resin is extrusion-molded. The resin is drafted just after the extrusion, and fine pores are formed on the back side in the direction of extrusion of lavender powder so that the emission of the aroma and medicinal components of lavender is adjusted.
