PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition detector for grill that accurately determines whether each of a multiple number of burners is in an ignited state or in a non-ignited state. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a burning sensor 26 that detects flame that is generated by a burner 2 for heating cooked objects placed on a placing section inside a grill, a control means H that determines whether the burner 2 is turned on or not depending on whether or not the ignition determining conditions are met based on the information detected by the burning sensor 26, and a plurality of burners 2a, 2b, 2c at different places. The ignition determining conditions are specified respectively for each of the burners 2a, 2b, 2c and the control means H determines whether each of the burners 2a, 2b, 2c is turned on or not.
