PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decompression envelope used for manufacturing a laminated glass with a curved surface, which is used for a front glass, a rear glass, and a side glass of a car and a curved surface part of a building, by a continuous preliminary contact press bonding process. SOLUTION: The decompression envelope is used for manufacturing a laminated glass by a continuous preliminary contact press bonding process. Its substrate is made of a cloth woven from threads of fine glass filaments, which is impregnated with a fluororesin, heat-treated and fired to form a sheet with no gas permeability but an uneven surface caused by its texture. The sheet is folded around the middle to form a bottom and both side ends are heat-welded to form an envelope, which is equipped with a suction nozzle to form the decompression envelope.
