PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency-regulating damper for a building, which enables easy performance of an operation for regulating a natural frequency on a job site, without the use of an unnecessary weight member or spring member, in the regulation of the natural frequency on the job site. SOLUTION: The weight member 4 is supported on a base 2 via a main supporting spring in a horizontally movable manner, and a laminated rubber-type additional spring mechanism 3 is provided. The spring mechanism 3, which is composed of a laminated rubber 7 wherein a plurality of rubbery elastic members 9 are laminated, is interposed between the weight member 4 and the base 2. A plurality of interlayer interposed plates 10 are interposed among the respective laminated elastic members 9. An arbitrary number of interlayer interposed plates 10 among the plates 10 can be fixed to one another by means of an interlayer connection mechanism 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
