PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance quality, and improve layout efficiency and cooling property of a battery case. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure for a battery for a vehicle, a set of batteries constituted by a plurality of cells are accommodated in a battery case 76, and the battery case 76 is covered with a side cover 13a from the outside. A plurality of the cells are arranged adjacent to each other in one horizontal line to make a battery pack in one line.
