<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method, by which the fixation and protection of images are realized at a high speed and a low temperature, a target image can be maintained as its high image quality is kept unchanged, a printed matter has little curl, kink, wrinkle, warp or the like, an intrinsic pliancy is kept independently of the material quality, constitution or property of a medium to be recorded and, at the same time, blocking resistance and frictional resistance enabling to give and increase lustrous properties to an image are provided. <P>SOLUTION: An ink composition including dispersion medium and charged particles including at least coloring material and their coating polymer is flown as ink drops by an inkjet recording system utilizing an electrostatic field so as to form an image on the medium to be recorded and, in succession, to provide an overcoating layer including an overcoating polymer having a dynamic modulus of elasticity at 50°C of at least 5×10<SP>5</SP>Pa on the surface of the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
